The Diamond Cutters will this week take on the team
they love to hate (metaphorically speaking), the Hubs. One can be
guaranteed of a close encounter when they come to watch this game,
10:30 Monday Night at the Marden Garden, tickets selling fast. The
last time these two teams met, the Cutters in all probability
thrashed Pappadum’s (with sidekicks Shaggy and the Accountant) Hubs,
and now they hope to exact revenge.
DC’s rough-edged personality Kep ‘me so hungry’
Schumann thinks differently of what will be the end result,
declaring "methinks those Hubs ain’t going nowhere but down. I eat
teams like them for breakfast. With my métier being my ‘meting of
the beating’, let me be the first to tell them they ain’t got no
chance."
You be the judge. Game tips-off at 10:30pm, Monday
8th April.
If you want something on top of your regular game
wrap-ups, the Cutters have now added a ‘see the game live in
progress’ option. To see the boys in action in all their glory and
splendour, all you have to do is click the house door shut, and
drive to the Marden Garden, the home of your Diamond Cutters
Basketball Club.
Delirious Excitement! The Diamond Cutters website,
as most of you have been bombarding us with questions about, will,
all things going well, be up and running by the end of the weekend.
Soon you can be updated in real time about DC’s goings on, be able
to purchase merchandise, and even participate in the on-line forum
about all things Cutters. Just what you’ve always been waiting
for!
The Diamond Cutters will also be running through
another order of the popular t-shirts. So all who have seen the
brilliant artistry and striking t-shirts and have been alerted to
the intense desire to purchase one or more, and all who have been
enlightened already and would like another for other purposes (ie.
swimming, sleeping, cooking, sporting activity, recreational
activity, parading around, framing, thermal underwear, etc. the list
goes on) can easily purchase a multi-purpose Cutters t-shirt just by
sending all appropriate details to the Cutters at the return
address.
