Diamond Cutters vs. Hubs

As the winning streak climbs to two, the diamond cutters are hoping to extend their fortune until the championship is won, ths week facing 'Pappadums' Hubs. Always an exciting encounter, these two teams again promise a close encounter, with each team vying for MARSBL supremacy.

The Cutters will be hoping talented but temperamental 2-guard J-Wong can make his return to the line-up, following his withdrawl from last weeks game due to 'slumber' issues. However, if he does not feel like playing this week also, the Cutters have back-up Matty 'the Banker' in case of emergency.

Fan favourite, superstar Johan van Leeuwen issued a press release this week, stating he no longer wishes to be referred to as 'Franchise', citing the effects on his image, and has suggested a new nickname 'Sweet as honey' as a replacement.

In other news, player-hater, resident misanthropist, K-pup, has issued a warning to Pappadum and his Hubs, referring them to watch the replay of last weeks game, where Cutters strong teamwork annhialated the Old'n'Fats Tranmere.
