Booyah vs. DIAMOND CUTTERS; Tip-off 8:15pm
8 October @ Marden Garden

The Diamond Cutters return next week from the labour day public holiday, refreshed and ready to take on expansion team Booyah. The Cutters and their home crowd are expected to really show this team how it's done in the MARSBL. The Cutters are anticipating their largest home crowd ever, eclipsing the record set in the last game of the 2001 regular season. Ticket sales have gone through the roof, ever since it was announced last friday that star players Jason Wong, and Johan 'Wonderman' van Leeuwen were returning to the lineup from injuries. The magnificent Yochem is eager to test his left hand game he extensively worked on during his time on the sidelines.

The Diamond Cutters also revealed their involvement with Michael Jordan's decision to return to the NBA, with the GM saying at a media conference they kept in "close consultation with the man himself, our friend Mike. We were the shoulder he leant on." Tickets are still available.
Congratulations to Tony Atkinson and Ellen Schumann! They and their closest two friends, as winners of our weekly 'Fan Mail Competition' will be enjoying the match courtside, courtesy of the Diamond Cutters. If you are either of these two people, please contact the Diamond Cutters at http://lw14fd.law14.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/compose?mailto=1&msg=MSG1002083916.26&start=265942&len=3486&src=&type=x&to=DiamondCuttersBC%40hotmail%2ecom&cc=&bcc=&subject=&body=&curmbox=F000000001&a=b183152fb1dc52b620fb8423020de26b, or alternatively ask at the stadium enquiry desk upon entry.
