Now that the NBA championship has been decided and there is no excitement whatsoever left in yet another NBA season after such a promising start, the only thing to look forward to next are the trades. However, Diamond Cutters Basketball wish to announce an end of season team trip to Brisbane to see the USA team play at the Goodwill Games, September 3-9.
Much to everyone's delight, it is actually a more showtime team, not one based around stats like the Olympic farce team, with players exciting to watch. Requirements are just that players remember their headbands. As Big Kev says, "I'm excited!"

Young Stars Picked for Goodwill Games
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 21 -- Phoenix's Shawn Marion, Atlanta's Jason Terry
and Charlotte's Baron Davis, who enjoyed breakthrough seasons in 2000-01, were
among the 12 players selected to the United States team which will compete Sept.
3-9 in the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane, Australia.  USA Basketball announced
the roster Monday. The selections were made by the USA Basketball Men's Senior
National Team Committee.
The team includes five rising stars -- Marion, Terry, Davis, Cleveland Cavaliers
guard Andre Miller and Minnesota Timberwolves forward Wally Szczerbiak -- who
recently completed their second season in the NBA.  Also named to the team were:
Duke's Shane Battier, the College Player of the Year; Marc Jackson of Golden
State Warriors; Seattle SuperSonics forward Rashard Lewis; Mark Madsen of the
Los Angeles Lakers; New Jersey Nets forward Kenyon Martin; Orlando Magic
swingman Mike Miller, the Schick Rookie of the Year; and Indiana Pacers center
Jermaine O'Neal.  The player-selection criteria called for the team to be
comprised of NBA players who were either drafted in 1999 or 2000, or who were
22-years-old or younger.

Also, Kep, you missed a great episode of 'Just Shoot Me.' Finch gave Maya a Deutsche Erotica book, and inscribed in it, "Meine Keine Assen ist verspanken." You would have loved it.
