DIAMOND CUTTERS 53, TBA 38

New Nerds on the Block No Match for Nonchalant Cutters

The Cutters faced yet another dodgey Mars human-sacrifice expansion team "TBA" on Monday night. Giving the Cutters a scare early in the first with almost all of their non-sensical dead-flat power-heave bank shots hitting their mark, these trajectory-calculating, velocity-vector-utilising super-nerds were afforded a false hope by the Cutters just before being swept aside.

The trouble was, the Cutters had called star PF Scotty "Sticky-icky-icky" DeBruyn back from his European break, sporting a new pair of all-bling Jordans and hungry for the W. Scotty dropped 14 and numerous blocks, and takes the MVP.

Ben was su-poib for his team-leading 17, dropping 3s from all angles, much like his hero Shane Heal. Rumours circulated that Ben would soon leave for Europe after being offered a big-cash-money contract from Greek A-league team Goats Peniz.

Johan had a streetball mis-hap at the weekend while trying to earn a name for himself, managing to sprain his already sprained ankle. Doctors say his "double-sprained" ankle will take some time to heal. The super-sprain didn't trouble the big fella too much, as he easily dropped 8, including play-of-the-game in which he was bumped off his jump shot, turned and flicked the ball backward over his shoulder, finding nothing but net, teaching even the TBAs something about lucky shots.

Timmy had a huge one, getting all fired up at the half, and hitting for 10. Tim also managed to fire up Dave, who also was big on the offensive boards, putting back 4. Kep (K Smoov) played some of his best point of recent times, finding his teammates with the dime, but failing to score.

In Wong news, the re-kneed star is reportedly working on a new album in his basement to pass the time, tentatively titled "Wongmatic", a tribute to his projects upbringing and keeping it real for the street.
